Rendered in black and white and reduced in its linguistic scope, Allerseelen is the retelling of an actual nightmare and therefore places the exploration of this dream state above a concrete and coherent narrative structure.
The short film, written & directed by, as well as featuring a score by Michael J. Keplinger, was released digitally on November 2, 2021 and premiered on April 28, 2022 at the Crossing Europe film festival in Linz, Austria. It has since won several awards including Best Horror/Thriller Film at the Austrian Filmfestival in Vienna, Austria.
